All part of my master plan aaaaaaaaahh eeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh

It would have to be Norwich City.
The fan base is already there, they already have the scarves, they just need to learn which train to get onto when leaving London.
And you can get good proper mustard from where it is made.
(I would keep Delia on as chairperson for entertainment value though)

well Bury for me. Have to be a purely Philanthropic role. No hope of a return.

I'd just rebuild Gigg Lane. Nothing big. Just keep the capacity as it is but make the facilities spectacular.
Pump loads into the youth set up. Mike Sheron is in charge there. Hopefully local talent becomes the main source of players for the club.

And tell FC U****d to do one.

.....and you decide to invest in a football club.

Who would you approach?

Myself I'd go for Sheffield Wednesday. A 'sleeping giant' with a fantastic stadium already in place. Would get it for a decent price considering their financial situation and league placing. Potential for huge crowds if the glory days return.

I'd also only appoint a manager who believes in playing the game properly - on the deck, flowing, attacking football. And whilst he would be given a very healthy transfer budget I'd concentrate on setting up an enviable youth academy and building a massive scouting network. Really prioritize on bringing in and producing exciting young talent.

Also from the very start every seat, no matter where in the ground, would be a standard fifteen quid for the fans.

Out of all the clubs in the world, why Sheffield Wednesday?

For the enjoyment I'd build up Bury into a premiership club.

From a 'business sense' probably Newcastle.

Berwick Rangers
Seem them play once when i was on holiday in Haggerston
Around 450 people were there and i loved it!! Got a soft spot for them
Bulid a new ground and my aim would be to topple rangers and celtic

Nottingham Forrest is a good shout but I think I'd go for Leeds.

Potential to be a big club and let's face it - they hate the rags almost as much as us which can only be a good thing.

Buy them. Get them back in the prem and sell them on to Peter Ridsdale who always pays over the odds!

I'd buy AS Cannes in the French Third Division, then promptly persuade Zidane to join his boyhood club as manager :)
Cool club with a sick amount of famous ex-youth players including Zidane, Vieira, Clichy, Julien Escude, and Frey.
Plus Koller is playing there -- the ten feet legend himself ;)
