Was suited to a particular era that's long gone.
As everyone says, it started going downhill when Lovejoy left. Thought Max Rushden was alright but the format was growing a bit stale by the early 2010s and when Bullard came in I thought that was a bit of a desperate move.
Haven't watched it for years but noticed that it went from being a 3-hour show on a Saturday morning to getting just the 1 hour not long ago. A sign that they were running out of material and needed to find another angle.
But they didn't find that other angle and now it's gone.
