Soccer Saturday

To be fair i think they've been quite balanced. They all agree he shouldn't get a ban for the celebration. Stelling saying RVP's celebration and tackle were out of order.

I agree with crackhead that without Adebayor, the ball will keep coming back and they will put us under pressure.

I agree. Been watching on an Internet stream, and I think the panel was pretty fair, and they highlighted comparable celebrations and van Persie's antics, which is more than I've seen anywhere else this week. As for tipping United, with the injuries we have, you can't blame neutrals for going for a home win in the prediction stakes - and I agree that, with Ade in our side, our chances of winning would have been much greater. The Soccer Saturday pundits do have a record of getting it wrong, though, so fingers crossed.

What makes me laugh is all four members of the panel said Sunderland to beat Burnley, they didn't give Burnley a prayer. I thought ' didn't Burnley beat Utd and Everton at home'they just dismissed Burnley and guess what Burnley are winning and have had a few chances to extend the lead.

Last week Merson could see 'anything but a City win' against Arsenal, think you got that wrong too!!

Experts my arse!!

who cares what a degenerate, lying, cheating, gambling, drug taking, tramp of a piss can that is PAUL MERSON thinks ?

Merson said last week "Cannot see City winning", this week "Cannot see City winning" now that is why he gambled his money away!!

I think most non-city fans would predict a rag win, so i'm not really sure why some of you are so easily offended by them. Even i think a rag win is more likely than a city win. Doesn't mean we can't do it, of course. But we're more likely to lose than to win in my opinion. They are wrong to say so bluntly that "Ade has cost us the derby." It's not as clear cut as that. But they are correct to highlight how big a loss he is. And Merson is also correct when he says the ball will keep coming back at us. It will, and for 90 minutes. It's going to be a long game and to win it, our whole team will have to defend as well as they've ever done before, and we'll then be reliant on nicking one from a set-piece. That's the kind of game it's going to be, so i can't blame them for their predictions.
