Sold out or empty seats ?

too expensive when the kids are no longer cheap tickets but don't contribute themselves cos they're skint students so you have to fork out the extra if you can afford to which many can't

they are encouraged to come regular and then we hit this family finance brick wall

when they are earning maybe we can try again but for now its just too much cash

Yeah can see your point there mate, my dad used to take me and my sister when we were younger for £95 for a season ticket. Now I'm 20, my sister stopped going about 7 years ago, its about £380 or something like that for my ticket, and just over £500 for my dad, plus instead of a bottle of coke it's 5 or 6 pints per game each (more for big games), plus food and train money. Football is an expensive sport to follow nowadays. If ticket prices go up too much we might really have to consider getting rid of our season tickets which is a sickening thought to me cause I've known nothing but going to watching City at the weekends for nearly 16 years now, so fuck knows how you 25years+ are feeling! I take it for granted sometimes but it has put a strict budget in my house just to pay for those match days.

I think we do need to encourage kids to come and support city after losing out on about 90% of a generation to the rags, but I think we also need to encourage a push to bring teenagers from working class families back to the game with cheap tickets. Not only will this contribute to the pretty poor atmosphere we have at the moment, but when they grow up into adults and have kids, there is another generation of blues lined up without any further effort.

I totally agree with what ur saying we moved in block with mates from north stand to our current seat which we've all had since ground opened and reward for that loyalty is to get ripped off fucking stinks
Is that a premium rate number

course its fucking not, it's all letters

Could be an American one ;)

A block of 75 seats unoccupied in the City end today. Rows J to N, seat no's 154 to 168 (5 rows of 15 seats). Clearly set aside for a large group of people who then no-showed. Absolute disgrace given that we only got 1200 tickets

Email the club and ask why a full block was unoccupied and see what response you get

Is it possible a coach just couldn't make it on time and they bailed to a pub or something! (He says clutching at very thin straws)
