I'm not even going to try and defend that steaming pile, but it's hardly representative of his output over 50years is it.
Who knows, if Marley was alive he might have become some awful old rastafarian Cliff Richard by now.

In 76, Bob Marley was supposed to perform at a peace rally called "Smile Jamaica" which i think he also organized.. not sure though. But two nights before he were to perform, Gunmen came into his home and shot both him and his wife... just two days after he was shot, he still went and performed at this rally. And after, when he was asked why he still sung... he said, "The people who are trying to make this world worse aren’t taking a day off. How can I?
