I never ''got'' Dylan in the early sixties, in common with lots of other shameful contemporaries.
We got off listening to shit like the Beatles, Doors, Stones etc; The Byrds did great justice to his stuff though.

I love The Byrds and there Dylan covers were always good but Bob was just such a cool bastard.

As a songwriter he's untouchable.

It should be Dylan, he's a genius with words, poetry in his songs, not many can match it. Positively 4th Street, Love Minus Zero and the countless others he's written.
