I totally understand where you are coming from, Lescott has been great for us, but you must have noticed we're playing a completely different style than in previous years?

The high line we play now doesn't suit Lescott at all, he's too slow to play that high up. Also, he was essentially replaced in the starting line up last year by Nasrasic because he's not good enough on the ball.

Lescott has been a great servant for us and was an essential member of the team that won the title, but like Barry he's just not quite suited to the way we play anymore.
