Tevez.

20 Goals in 29 games.

F-ING-HELL.

True, i found it interesting too that in a similar amount of games he has commited a similar amount of fouls as De Jong, i always had De Jong down as a player who conceded alot of fouls, but i was suprised to see Barry conceding way more. Also, suprised by Barry's assist contribution.

Barry is clumsy though, you have to admit.

Only 4 yellows, mind. Maybe it's because he's a regular in the england squad. ;)

How many appearances has adebayor had, 11 goals and 5 assists isnt too bad considering the 2 bans and attacked at african nations

Nah he's the master of the cynical foul to halt opposition attacks without making them look cynical ala Didi Hamann.

9 - Bellamy

Appearences:
29 - Tevez
27 - Bellamy

Scorers:

Contribution to Goals/Per Game
(Goals + Assist)/Appearences

Tevez - 27/29 = 0.931
Bellamy - 18/27 = 0.666
Adebayor - 16/20 = 0.8

All better than 1 in 2, i wonder how many other teams can boast 3 players in that possition.

-- Tue Apr 06, 2010 10:51 am --

I think Barry is an excellent player all around to be honest. He lacks that pace that some other midfielders have but he works with what he has brilliantly. He is always available for the pass, and spreads the play well between the wings, he makes key fouls in key areas without making them look key, he can put in a good tackle too, mind. I would like to see him getting in the box a little more but i guess he can only do what RM allows him to do.
