And assuming this is not you being mischievous, does us signing Eto'o depend on Barca signing Villa? Is Keirrison (have they signed him yet?) a direct replacement for Eto'o, or is he straight off to Valencia on loan as part of any Villa deal? Would it be possible for us to sign Eto'o without Barca geting Villa? So many questions!

Barca have let City speak to Eto'o thats for sure. The rest I don't know mate.

The timing of his post seems to suggest to me that Mr Zimmer is piggy backing on Spursmad's info.

A reliable ITK posts that Eto'o is 80% done and shortly thereafter a somewhat less successful ITK suddenly comes out with a similar story.

Maybe coincidence but the timing perhaps would indicate otherwise.

I think Eto'o would be quite excited about the prospect of playing in a front 3 with Tevez and Robbie.

No champs league next year, in a world cup year, is not the worst scenario for these kind of players and let's be honest if we sign Tevez and Eto'o plus a couple of defenders then we will piss top 4 so champs league after that anyway.

next week prior to pre-season starting is when it is all going to happen.

can't fucking wait.

Piss the top four, impossible... get your feet back on the ground mate. I know its the stupidest time to say that right now, but we should never expect anything, go out and earn it.

we'll have to beg to differ then on this one, sure come May 2010 we are hardly likely to remember this thread but i would expect us to be top 4 at a canter if we made the signings we are expecting.

Personally I have always liked the contribution of Ajay and Zin Zimmer, but the 2 people I believe are UGS and of course spursmad321.

So lets all enjoy the next few days knowing that we have already got Tevez and will hopefully sign Eto'o by the end of the week.
