Some of you won't like this, but..

I call bullshit but Robinho apart i'm not sure how anybody would not like the list of Ins/Out.

I have no problems with the free / released members of the squad and I do not think they will need replacing. But it would be very foolish for Mark Hughes to get rid of all his left footers in Ball, Garrido, Petrov and Robinho bringing in only Diego Capel as replacement left-winger unless he plans to use Lescott as a left back and not a centre half? Otherwise, they'd still need a whole new left hand side. It leaves gaping holes, unless he thinks Zander can deputise for Bridge despite only being a 16-year-old German young international or Ben Mee steps up? I don't know.

Kolo Touré would be a top notch signing as would Glen Johnson, Englands future number one right back. I think Kolo and Kompany could really do well in central defence in place of Dunne although I'd feel sorry for Nedum Onouha to a certain extent as he has done nothing wrong. Good idea to loan Caciedo and Evans out, but the latter should be with a view to purchase based on their return to the premier league in my opinion.

In attack I am very, very curious as to how we will manage to attract one of them, nevermind all three. Tevez? Well, there's 4 more days till his deal runs out and from the sounds of things the rags will be keeping hold of him but if they lose first option then we're in prime position from a financial sense really aren't we? Adebayor? Well he's said he wants to stay and is very happy at Arsenal so I cannot imagine that being true. Aguero? Apparently if Chelsea lose Drogba to Inter Milan as expected this is the striker that they'll be going for to replace him so whether financial status favours or not, I would imagine him wanting to push through a move to Stamford Bridge more than coming to us.

O' Neil, Bentley and YaYa Touré I can imagine being true for some reason.

robinho can not leave end of... he is our first marquee signing, the one who is to intice players to play in our team. if he went i think it would be a backward move IMO..

This is stronger than just idle gossip, I am sort of ITK (will NOT reveal link as it's via a 3rd party), and as such whilst not privvy (who is?) to hard information about specific plans, have formed my own ideas on the type of squad Hughes and co. would like to put together, based on how last season was viewed

Outs:

Vassell - Free
Hamaann - Free
Mills - Released
Berti - Released

Robinho £30m - Chelsea
Jo swap + £2m - Everton (Lescott the other way)
Elano £5m
Petrov 2.5m - Spurs
Ben Haim £2m - Sunderland
Dunne £3m - Sunderland
Garrido £2m Spain
Fernandes £2m Stoke
Benjani Free -
Evans Loan - Newcastle
Ball - £1m - newly promoted club
Sturridge £2m (compensation) - Aston Villa
Caceido loan - Blackburn

Ins:

Lescott see above
K. Toure £8m
YY Toure £19m
G Johnson £15m
Capel £25m
Ageuro £35m
Adebayour (spelling)£18m
Tevez £30m
Bentley £8m
G. O'Neil £6m

This is what I think the the wish list could be, the original intention was to bring in more numbers but non Europa qualification means concentrating on quality to push for top 4, I know we have publicly stated top 6 but feel the real agenda is different.
Also the new arrivals, could be viewed as having more "backbone" and a better work ethic than the departing Brazillians - the feeling being that these boys have too many "don't fancy it" days, were disruptive influences at times, and didn't enjoy the tough training regime, resulting in shocking form last season away from Eastlands

Looks strong to me. I'd go with this
9 new signings? No chance.

Can you imagine all the excitment, the speculation, the gossip, the anticipation. And City's first signing is........

Gary O'Neill

Aguero to O' Neill: "Hi, I'm Aguero, who are you?"
