Some reactions from ragcafe

I had a look at Redcafe the other day. I just wanted to know their reaction to the Toures being out.
What i found was a shock to me
I felt like joining just to woman slap them for their poor attitude to their own team and manager.
They had just had back to back wins with a bag full of goals, then suffered back to back losses.
So you would think they would be pissed, but not to the extent they go too.
Kicking every team member, and even wanted fergie out!
I have never seen such an over reaction to two losses in my life.
Some members on there should be ashamed of themselves.

So today, for the first time ever, i kept an eye on both our and their in match thread.
If i cannot be at the match, i at least try to absorb every minute of it.
All i can say is fickle fucking fans!!!
Players that just before kick off were not fit to sell hogdogs outside Old Traffords were now world beaters.
Rooney was the messiah, and Paul Scholes coming on the best decision fergie has ever made.
Two minutes later, we went to 2-3 and Rooney and Jones are shit, fergie has lost the plot and shouldn't be pissing about with Scholes!
Some on there seem decent fans, and know the score. They accept that we are getting better and better and are getting used to it.
Fergies is probably doing his finest work this year, as he just doesn't have the cash to go out and buy.
But some spoilt twats think that because they have had it good for so long that they have an automatic right to win everything.
They were moaning about their injurys, and throwning the towel in early.

So if any redcafe members are looking at this, read below and see how a loyal fan reacts...win or lose!

Well all i can say is that i have never been so up after a Manchester Derby defeat.
I will explain my last fortnight.

I for the first time, believed that we finally had the team to genuinely beat United.
After learning Yaya wouldn't be available, i started to get a little concerned.
Hearing news that Balotelli was injured really started to worry me.
Dzeko's late injury news meant a really hard days work ahead.

But like any blue, we are born with an eternal optimism.
So come match day, i'm still up for it. Then news comes in that Hart is rested. WTF?!
Now i'm really starting to get really worried.
The final nail in my coffin of hope is learning Bobby has gone with Kolarov over Clichy. Double WTF?!

So instead of looking forward to the match, i found myself resigned to hard hard match.
Do i come on here and kick the manager, players, the dog? No, i just get on with it.
United mates won't want to hear my excuses that this was in effect our B team.
And they would be right! Aguaro/Silva Djong/Company would get in any EPL team.
But the reality is that this isn't our strongest team, and apart from them missing Vidic, we are playing their strongest.

First we go 1 down, then Vinny is sent off. A penalty and a Welbeck goal before half time should have meant doom.
I will be honest and admit i was dreading a complete rampage from them.
That is what should have happened from them. I would have just missed all the fun we have had with the 6-1 thing, but i had faith we could salvage something.
Bobby pulling Silva/Johnson off spelt the white flag going up. But i respect Bobby to do what he thinks is best.

We all know what happened next half!
I know we lost, but sometimes it IS how you lose. We had them hanging on for their lifes at the end.(and yes i will say it, against 10 men)
I'm not saying playing well is better than winning, far from it.
But we could have come away from this match mentally scared and defeated.
Kicked out of the FA cup and lost a local Derby.
As it is, we haven't. We come away looking stronger than we have ever done from a defeat.
Their win has actually weakened them. It has more than ever shown how fragile they are.
Fergie was right to be livid after the match. Bobby was also right to be upset.
Bobbies only has to worry about a bad reffing decision, fergie has to worry about his whole team!

Typical City is dead and buried people, and i for one is loving it!!!
quality post....

That second half could be the most important 45 minutes of the season.

If we had lay down and let United win by 5/6 then all mentally it would have had dire consequences.

Instead we fight, battle, and very nearly pull off the unlikeliest of comebacks. The crowd cheer the players off despite defeat and we still have the momentum.

10 men City and yet we still had to rely on a penalty to win

We won but we were rubbish, playing with 12 against 10 for almost 80 minutes and it didnt show.

Some of this stuff is shocking. Some people not feeling great despite the fact we won. We've just beaten top of the league. Every single fan should be over the moon.

City deserved a goal. This round should have been replayed. The ref was awful. Congrats lads! Nonetheless we knocked them out. Welcome back Scholesy

Glad we won. ONly thing is City will now still have momentum as they finished very well.

They outplayed us and nearly beat us with 10 men yet when we had 10 men they destroyed us, think that's what the commentators are getting at. Know its FA cup and knockout but we pissed that away a bit. Its taken a bit of the shine off now.

Says it all we went 4-5-1 against a 10 man city.

Most telling of all is that we demolished their 10 man team when they lost a fringe defender yet we lost our captain and most influential defender and still managed to bring it back and fight to the death.

Superbia in Proelio and they know it.

Just edited a touch to fit in with how things were at The Etihad today.

^^^^This

They had fantastic chance to take a big momentum from this game. At some point we were ready for riots. When teams were coming up for 2nd half our players looked frightened and I thought they are going to completely cancel those 1:6.

Thanks God, we were much better in 2nd half and they were awful and completely missed their chance to make things going on their way.

It's always bad to lose but I wouldn't care too much about defeat if Kompany's red card appeal finish as success. Apart from that I think we came stronger from this match than when we stepped to it.

Red cafe obviously reflects the views of the scum bag fans - the majority of whom are the glory seekers that we (and other real fans despise).
Having said that, some of the comments from (presumably ) their genuine supporters can be very very candid and realistic.
They realise that we are the real deal and that we pose a serious threat to them.
In fact, although It pains me to say it, Blue Moon probably has more loony posters than they do!

what a bunch of deluded, brainless morons they are..

from Foy's thread:

Terrible today...

Missed a stonewall penalty in the 2nd half and booked Nani for nothing

Don't forget the foul he called on Evra when it was Richards who man-handled Evra & resulted in their first goal.
Foy is a fool.

Did Kolorov even get booked for our pen?

was sat in the pub with the lads from out sunday team, mostly rags unfortunately. they were on me big time when we was three nil down. when kolarov scored they were deadly quiet and spentthe whole of the second half shitting themselves. they then argued amongst themselves and basically said all the stuff being said on red cafe. when the final whistle went they didnt gloat.........infact they walked out and said nothing. they know we are a good side and infact some of the lads i was drinking with today think City will win the league and have said so since the beginning of the season. our second half performance i think just exposed the cracks they know that arnt being attended to. thought RM was great in his after match interview, infact he was very diplomatic in the circumstances and the way fergie had stormed off youd have thought utd had lost.

Definitely agree about the momentum, our second half performance leads us into the Pool game on Wednesday with the wind in our sails.

I've never been less disappointed after a derby defeat. At 2 nil in the first half I would have taken a 3 nil defeat and moved on to the next game but the way we came back was amazing. You could tell that their fans at the ground were shitting it last 10 minutes. Says it all really.

Fulabeer great post. You should post more but comments on there are little different to those on here when we lose.
