someone must know these two

Merseyside police have offered to help.

If they can get someone to provide their names, dates of birth, national insurance numbers, shoe sizes, address, places of work, and list their 10 favourite songs…Merseyside’s finest reckon they can limit it to 10,000 people by the end of the year.

Dreadful incident, not convinced the plod will rush to find them though. I know it's cynical but that's the society we live in, hope the fella mends well and is recovering.

Just as a reminder we have got law enforcement asking a community to not protect a child killer, that's where we are.

Why would the footage be pixelated? It seems counter intuitive if they are looking for help in identifying the attacker.
Maybe to protect the victim.
You would think with all the CCTV in Town they would be able to trace their steps, possibly to a hotel or apartment .
Cowardly **** attacking a defenceless pensioner.

If that was the case then why did they unpixelate the poor victim when he was lying on the ground?

As you say though, a cowardly attack. Let's hope the bastard is found and dealt with.
