- We went to Rotherham…
Have you not heard of catchment areas?
whilst we are at it ticket every **** that parks on the pavement. why should a mother walk on the road cos they can't get past. selfish bone idle cunts.
no skin off my nose parking on the road, just that being a pillar of the community i'd like my fellow dentonians to drive freely through the town.I always take on the challenge when walking past.
Scratch your paintwork?
Tough.
Break your mirror?
Park on the fucking Road then.
Sadly it isn’t’t an offence, but it bloody well should be.
Sat on his car because he's probably an argumentative twat who wanted to drive into school, me me me me, society, I'll do what i want, you are a **** mentality. Liberties, fucking mardy bullshit, driving into a school is a liberty. The teacher sat on the guys ride. You don't talk liberties like that and expect to come out of it unscathed. A slap on the wrist would have been a more suitable course of action here
Maybe they should have given him community service where he had to go and tell people outside the school not to park incorrectly, with a big yellow jacket on saying if you don’t you’ll be doing this job next. The custodial sentence is ludicrous. Better to give the idiot 2,000 hours of clearing litter up outside that school and running a youth club until those hours are spent, or helping out in the hospital, or a hospice. Maybe seeing enough of people dying, or the injuries that result from accidents will have more of an effect than sitting on his arse watching telly in his cell.
£45k a year is what is billed for each prisoner in the UK, the prison population has increased since 1993 from 44,246 to 85,134 (30 June 2016). 1993, happens to be the year that the government floated the idea of allowing the private sector to run prisons, 1197 is when it happened.

Our judicial system is at best outdated, or at worse corrupt.
Obviously the youngsters can't be expected to walk, but the amount of older kids who are dropped off, can't all be coming from far away surely, and what about car sharing, picking up several kids? No, the congested roads and general mayhem outside school is proof that too many are not using public transport the way they did 20-30 years ago, parents are stressing about getting to work on time, business needs to adopt a far better attitude to flexible working for a start, and school busses put on might help tooMaybe the parents drop them off at school then carry on their journey to work in the car? The school where my little one will go to is about a 20 min walk away. So thats 20 mins there, saying 5 mins at the school, then 20 mins walk back then jump in the car and head to work.
Or
2 mins in the car, 5 mins messing about then straight off to work
45 mins or 7 mins? whats it to be?
business needs to adopt a far better attitude to flexible working for a start, and school busses put on might help too
I'd ban all audi drivers, that would remove millions of "hot heads" young or old.next I would raise the driving age to 21. that'll shift a few young hot heads from the road.
The media projects a world teeming with child abductors and paedophiles lurking ready to abduct children, roving gangs of feral kids tooled up to the eyes with kitchen knives, when in fact it's just that people and the media are more informed about the dangers kids face.
I can probably count on one hand the number of times I was dropped/picked up from school from the age of 5 and up in a car, we walked in all weathers or got the bus, this was in a time where the biggest dangers to kids were the bloody teachers! And if you miss behaved n the bus, the bus driver would give you a clip round the head and kick you off.
These days some kids are precious little darlings to be cosseted and pampered with air huaraches and the latest iPhones, drama queens when they don't get their own way, obviously not all are like that, but it's often the parents fault, feeding these rampant little egos fit to explode.
I've got an under 9 football game to ref at the weekend, there's strict rules for parents and kids, any abuse and it's a ban for both, and for the most part the kids behave, any stropping and they're asked to sit out, it helps that the head coach is 6'5" and looks like he can do some damage!
I think all parents should have a compulsory course on parenting at key stages, I know several with toddlers who are still clueless, and this includes doctors.
yep. 70. too many old un's that can hardly see pottering about. clogging up the roads, you can tell them miles off. odds are a slow car up ahead is an old timer usually wearing a cap. I would make ALL public transport free for people over 70 if they hand over their licence.
Fuckin bull shit, I'm 70 and class myself as a good driver, I'd be willing to take a test to prove it if the government brought it in, I used to race back in the 60s and 70s I also ride a motorbike that makes me more aware of traffic around me, and no I don't wear a flat cap.
Prestwich Blue likes this.I'd ban all audi drivers, that would remove millions of "hot heads" young or old.
well the roads need cleaning u so may aswell start with the oldies. then the kids. then any visitor to our county. we should never allow hire cars to foreign nationals till they pass a test over here. we drive on the wrong side to them. that or do a Sweden and us change over.Fuckin bull shit, I'm 70 and class myself as a good driver, I'd be willing to take a test to prove it if the government brought it in, I used to race back in the 60s and 70s I also ride a motorbike that makes me more aware of traffic around me, and no I don't wear a flat cap.
10 mile round trip every day? You must have got through a lot of shoes.
