Something’s changed

When my youngest was just getting into football he did consider being a rag as all his mates were. I simply told him that it was his choice but I would never take him to a match.
My young nephew did much the same. My sister in law (his mum) told him very clearly that his dad would ever take him to a match and that his uncle (me) would most likely never talk to him again (which was 100% true).

Here we are nearly 50 years later and he's been a proper Blue ever since.

Don't let kids make important decisions.

The amount of people on twitter yesterday looking for 1 and 2 tickets, I've never seem that many before.

I agree with carragher that is the first time in a long Time we've had a player in the prem who was best in the world. Normally they start their career here or finish
Looking around the stadium during the match (not often as the pitch action was great), there were quite a few empty seats dotted around in all the sides and levels I could see. Not having a go at 'empty seats', just sad that if the clamour for tickets is that great, that more of the ticket no-shows don't shove them on ticket-exchange.... not that I know how hard that process might be, before I get jumped on.

You can't list your ticket on the exchange in the champions league. Part of being on the cup-scheme.

I managed to transfer mine (for free) to someone on here so it was filled.

We are now the neutrals teams. There are people all over tuning in to our games to watch this beast. Anyone who loves football should be able to appreciate how good this guy is.

It's a bit like prime-Messi when we used to enjoy watching him score hat-tricks against Eibar.

I love everything about the lad but what impresses me is the way he salutes/applauds us fans at the end of every game

Last night he changed from his kit and still made the point of walking over to all sides of the ground, likewise Sunday when Foden threw the ball to him for his hat trick he threw it and went over to applaud us

I actually subscribed to Stan sports this morning just so I could guarantee that I’d be watching Haaland, I usually try watching champs league on streams because I pay for Optus sport to watch Premier league. As we know streams are hit and miss, but it was worth every dollar! even for half a game.
Generational talent and we are so lucky to have him in our team.

If it hadn't been pissing down he would of been out longer as well, fair play to him as you say,he's a great lad

Why would he leave after 5 years with 3 or 4 Champions League titles already under his belt
To try a new league and a new city. He spent, what, six months at Salzburg and he’s played in five clubs in four countries at 22. Alfie told the press that Erling wants to prove himself in every (major?) league.

We’d be utterly spoilt if the above situation plays out

Deffo. If you're on holiday in England and want to see a football match, knowing Ronaldo isn't playing for united, unless you're Korean, haaland is the go go guy.

Always considerate of others

That’s the thing I think I love most about him. He’s so humble and by all accounts a thoroughly decent lad. The way he conducts himself on and off the pitch is a joy. His parents must be so proud.

Contrast to the likes of ronaldo etc who are very arrogant and aloof.

There was a video the other day of everyone chucking their bibs in the bag at the kitman and Erling walks over and hands it too him.
