Breathtaking, there's no possible way for English football to have an atmosphere or scenery like Dortmund in the foreseeable, but if we could become even half as good as them we'd be on to something. Need the much maligned "one end" and thousands willing to unfold their arms to pull this off though. ;)

at least 30-40 EPL rules that had been broken on that pictures from Dortmund, and that would be my considerate guess ;)

The Bundesliga has more to offer than just Dortmund! ;)

If there is a general interest I am happy to provide a couple of pics and clips of other teams in the Bundesliga which are less in the focus at the moment. Maybe you lot could use them as an inspiration of what the Ethiad could look like some day. :)

I understand that Dortmund is the second team of choice at the moment, but
it would do the other fanscenes injustice to consider them as the nonplus Ultra in Germany or Europe.

I'd be interested in watching some mate!

Lets start with the most important team the mighty Eintracht Frankfurt (slightly biased opinion as it´s my own team, cough):

Away in Aachen, near the Dutch border on a Monday night, 2nd division:

Now a team from the second division, Dynamo Dresden from the East of Germany. Pretty passionate supporters

Away in Dortmund on a Tuesday night in the cup:

Borussia Dortmund:
Display towards the end of last season

Karawane Stuttgart, for the start of each season Stuttgart fans have a march to their arena

FC Köln (now 2nd division)
Derby display versus Leverkusen:

I could go on for hours, but the intention is just to give you an opportunity to see past Dortmund. :)

So fucking jealous from watching those video clips.

We need safe standing, desperately here.

So many rules and regulations here that stadiums are like Funerals.

The rags call their stadium the "Theatre" and they are right... it's so fucking polite and quiet.

There will be a time when a generation over here completely reject the borefest and no atmosphere in the English leagues and adopt a German team and really follow the club, going to games etc.

Its actually happening already. At my own club Eintracht Frankfurt we got regular visitors from Edinborough, Oldham, Swansea and all over the UK.

There are a lot of UK fans going to Dortmund matches as well and I can imagine the situation beeing similar at other clubs as well.

As a reason they usually state that its cheaper for them to just fly over with a cheap flight, buy a ticket and enjoy themself with some beers, than going to a London away for example.

Its like a blast from the past for them...standing, drinking, cursing and singing as much as you want.
