At the Chelsea game I heard this doing the rounds...

So my thinking is that unfortunately despite the good effort it wont take off and alternatively this bobbins ^ will.

Bleedin'ell guys come on. Try and remember that in the stands no grown bloke is going to stand there singing "oh baby" "yeh yeh yeh" or anything even remotely similar.

Also, anyone suggesting a song to the 'tune' of 50 Cent, Eminem, Sisqo...rapping isn't an easily co-ordinated method of song for the stands so probably won't catch on (and will get you laughed at if you try to start it).

A new song has to be short, catchy, easy and memorable (and usually to an established footy song tune)...

"Oh when De Jong...goes sliding in,
Oh when De Jong goes sliding in,
I'm gonna cheer on the pit bull,
when De Jong goes sliding in."

Nothing special, same old tune for every club in the Prem. If we can't better a song for Ebanks Blake, or the original for O'Shea, then we're failing!

Ahh my sincere apologies, whilst I was writing my memory deserted me for that 3rd line and couldn't for the life of me remember, but now I do.

It isn't too bad really, I suppose.
 
OH WHEN DE JONG GOES SLIDING IN! ITS BEEN STARTING UP SINCE LAST SEASON! LET'S HOPE THE WHOLE CROWD GET BEHIND HIM AND GIVE HIM SOME WELL EARNED SUPPORT!
