Instead of all the dick measuring competitions that goes on between the east stand and the south stand (''singing section, you're having a laugh'' etc etc) how about a positive song that plays off the unique fact that our two loudest parts of the stadium surround the away fans. I've heard it a few times, most recently with Hull, the ''we're left side, we're left side, we're left side over here.....
I think it would work well with '' we're south stand, we're south stand, we're south stand over here. we're east stand/ kippax .....
Just an idea, once it get's going it creates quite a bit of noise which can only be a good thing so anyone reading this who sits in said sections give it a go. I would myself but I sit in south stand level 2 where people around me rarely sing let alone start songs and quite simply I don't have the confidence/ balls to get up and belt this out!

Great idea - anything to help improve the current atmosphere. Get it in front of the 1894 crew.

This is just the job. It matters nought what is said as long as it is prolonged and noisy. Fuck knows what those Germans sing, gabble, spew out but it creates the atmosphere. As soon as the away crowd begin we know they are gonna be loud! Give it a go!

Whatever the Monchengladbach fans were shouting between the tiers the other night got incredibly loud. And I was in the family stand.
They were singing Vau Eff Ell or VfL to you and me. It's a part of their name. I think our equivalent would be singing either MC - FC between the two sections or even just repeating City.

And another thing, I know it's not everyones cup of tea but when used correctly drums are effective. Period. You could see it against Gladbach, the Singing section were trying to get a song going but whenever the away fans started up with the drum again we were drowned out. I'm not saying we should definitely have one, but I certainly think we should be considering all options; including a drum.

Noel Noel Noel Noel that is the name of that bastard cantwell.

Seasons greetings.

We should do seasonal songs.
