Songs that transcend any criticism

Don't think that God wrote it but it is a song that everyone can relate with. My friends dad passed away and that night we sat in a room chillin with a few beers and a couple of doobs. we were listening to random tunes on the PC and if flicked to everybody hurts, we sat in silence and listened to it and our buddy started crying. when it finished he seemed a lot better and I think the bloody song really helped him. Just for this I think it transcends criticism and I bet that there are millions of people who can relate like this to the song.

BTW, I think JC's Hurt is one.
