Not keen on sting and hate showhatever
I have Leo Sayer's first album but haven't listened to it since the 70s

Moon in June (robert Wyatt) off the classic Soft Machine 'Third' (arguably one of their best)

Wyatt's singing at its skittish and plaintive best..

Softs are one of the most underratted bands of all time

By the Light of the Silvery Moon

By the light of the silvery moon,
I want to spoon, to my honey I'll croon love's tune,
Honeymoon keep a-shining in June,
Your silvery beams will bring love dreams, we'll be cuddling soon,
By the silvery moon.

Aah...beautiful. Bit risque on the spooning bit.

I listen to these moon songs to convene my appreciation to luna, great ball of the sky.

Moon - Bjork
Moonshine - Marilyn Manson
Virginia Moon - Foo Fighters
White Moon - Silverchair
MoonWalk - Earth Wind and Fire
Half Moon - 5th Dimension

Smashing Pumpkins had a fair few of moon inspired songs. Billy Corgan had that kind of perversion to night. They had Luna, and Tonite Tonite had that A Trip To The Moon inspired video. And the B-Side to one of the two Mellon Collie tapes were songs fitting for the moon.

Bark at the Moon by Ozzy though not a song I would listen to.
