They were so feckin good then. Despite the latter success and overplaying of Don't Stop Believin' (which we Blues in The Phoenix rock club back in 81/82 adopted as a City song ... especially the 'singing the Blues' line) they are the melodic rock band.
For me, only their 2001 album, Arrival came close to Escape. Then singer Steve Augeri was equal to Perry for me. A shame Schon and his love of $$$$'s ended his time in the band.
 
And then one day you find, 10 yrs have gone behind you no-one told you when to run.. You missed the starting gun.
Shorter of breath one day closer to death.
The time has gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say.
