Good result for the campaign but they are'nt fooling anyone , they have individuals who can produce moments for a billion pound squad that is only to be expected , if you spend that amount of money the law of averages says at least one player will make a difference in 90 minutes. This result will keep the paperboy at the Swamp until Xmas at least, its going to be a great yuletide for us all.

Brilliant result that should keep Ole in a job for at least a few more weeks. How can you not be impressed by his tactical genius. At 2-0 down he switched to the tried and tested "United way." A long boot out to the flanks by De Gea, then a long boot into the box. It is like watching the great Hungarian side of the 50s or Brazil 1970. The tactic brought long-term success for David Moyes during his stellar tenure at the Theatre of Dreams. It was surely one of the greatest European nights in football history.

Said this before. Whilst the GPC is lurking in the background that lot will not be near challenging for the title. History as a funny way of repeating itself like when Shankly or Busby stood down and continued to haunt the corridors of power.
To be fair Paisley insisted that he ucked off.

Atalanta, likes Leeds, play to their strengths. Plenty of space in behind. Liverpool to a lesser extent do also. A win there and there may be talk of contract extensions!

They have turned more corners than a Scalextric car in a 24-hour race.
Atalanta was missing a lot of players in the defense. Not quite sure Manure would get the same result vs an injury free Atalanta team.
