look at your players then look at what pep prefers ,he can surprise people ,like he turned lahm into a good defensive midfielder could zabba do a job there ?? Silva doesn't need to be quick, his job requires far more than being able run fast. He's the glue that binds defence and attack and that's very much the type of player Pep likes. The injury situation has only really hit home this season which isn't a surprise after having lumps kicked out of him for 5 years. You say only Kompany and Aguero are safe yet it's well known he approved the KDB transfer and Sterling will be going nowhere. The only players who I think will be out the door are Navas, Demichelis, Sagna, Kolarov, Fernando, Bony and potentially Yaya and one of Otomendi or Mangala. That's plenty of wages and driftwood out leaving room for quality replacements.
