Sorry but this one really did take the biscuit

Exactly, Matty... i think we should be set up to our strengths personally (pace, attacking, width) as opposed to containing the opposition.

We went toe to toe with utd and it took 7 of 6 minutes to beat us. We went toe to toe we Arsenal and won. Toe to toe with Chelsea and won. So we're capable of beating the best when we attack, a bit of stability in the defence under Hughes and we would have been flying... Mancini had begun to change the defence, but it seems its currently at the expense of the rest of the team.

Are you for real? Barry had a brilliant game in my books. Vieira ensures we win the midfield battle and gives us presence. If anyone was anonymous it was Stevie Ireland, not De Jong or Barry. I think the writing is on the wall for Ireland. Yes, loads of us love him, but only on last seasons performances, not this seasons.

The midfield battle against Whelan and Salif Diao? Give me a break.

As for Barry, Mr Ball-Retention was dire once again.

He set up our goal and was involved in pretty much everything going forward... radar was a few degrees off but he's the kind of palyer that grows as he gets a run in the team.

Vieira is more creative than De Jong & Barry.

In no way was my post a jab at Vieira, it was more so that he should of replaced one of these two. If Ireland had a knock then I guess there wasnt much option and this all looks a bit stupid, but its not as if he didnt do the same after pulling one back against Hull.

Vieira was good when he came on.

That performance was an absolutely shocking, We had a good tempo to the game up until we scored that did the Italian style and sat back and invited Stoke onto us, But have to give credit to Stoke fair play to them coming to us and having a good go of it. I didn't understand the Ireland for Vieira sub what so ever!

I though our best player today was Wayne Bridge he was up and down the touchline for the 90 minutes, same with Shauny.

As for Martin Petrov I have had enough of him he's a lazy arrogant c*nt with an attitude problem!

Oh then I agree with you.

i was led to believe when mancini took over we would see attacking football as we did with hughes at times but with a bit better defending, the defending has improved but going forward has changed ,i dont watch italian football but certain people and pundits were saying mancini attacks no matter what team he's playing,he also mentioned this himself in countless interviews, we do attack but its limited now... on a side note capello was there and if im right everytime capello has been watching us home or away we have never won...
