My prescription is now in its second month of waiting. This is something the Doctor said I must take for a year to prevent a recurrence. Also, advised to avoid stress. He clearly didn't try ringing his surgery and practice. The NHS app is great. All services disabled for the practice. That's just me.
If I started about my family, you'd see why we're crippling the NHS. It's us. Not the politicians or mismanagement. We're to blame. We've had it good and the it aged. We set our expectations too high. I'd genuinely pay double or treble national insurance rates to help the NHS get back to stability. Many others would or won't, but it needs a drastic boost. This government are happy to let it flounder on the rocks. They'll blame everyone but themselves.
So, I apologise for being born in a public hospital and having a loving family use a system that was there to improve living conditions and support the people throughout their daily lives. Good old social care has done wonders. It's amazing. It's also amazing it is still writhing around like a broken animal. The power of those who work for the people has saved the NHS to this day. How much fight and will do they have? Keep going.
To quote Sir W.C., "Keep buggering on. K.B.O." If you don't do it, who will?
