Thanks, I'm surprised we're not using Etihad, but it looks like a brand new aircraft only just delivered, and the only photo I can find its completely white with the just the registration on the tail. HiFly come up as registered in Malta, or Portugal, or Ivory Coast (I was just curious).
 
Yes, it used to fly for Virgin Atlantic before it seems. I couldnt find any recent pictures of it.

Why can't I track the flight on flightradar? It just shows up as a 'historical flight' (a completed flight) and just stops in the Mediterranean Sea.

There is no ground reception for the transponder.

Flightradar depends on interested individuals having the receivers connected to the system, and Africa just doesn't have much coverage. The planes disappear because there are no receivers on the ground to track them.
