Not a great game - bit like watching the FA cup early rounds on a Sunday afternoon when you don't want to go out because its raining and there's plums all else on tv.
The consensus seems to be that it was a very enjoyable game.

Put it on mute for the second half. Somehow I think that each game will have the same level of bees around a jampot. I'm not a violent person but I could do something with the sharper end of those things.

thought there was some excellent stuff played in patches. such a shame that SA mugged themselves. their major weakness is the right side, and probably the left back is a liability defensively. everyone else looked comfortable on the ball, decisive and calm enough... but that right winger did my head in....yet another speed merchant who can't pick the moment to cross let alone get an accurate ball in, he was too scared or too tired to carry the ball forward in the crucial phase of the game.... he bottled it, tried to play 'clever' passes, always the wrong ball at the wrong time, always inaccurate. mexico are the same as usual, good passing game but no cutting edge whatsoever up front. I am thoroughly excited by the prospect of hernadez lining up against us next year.

I just didn't really enjoy it that much. Perhaps I'm expecting too much - must be the build up ;-)

I thought it was a deccent game and S.A should have had a penalty. I don't really mind the noise from them vulva things, not much different from the F1 races.

Well i luv em Dave. so much so that i am gonna bring a couple back with me, so i may just turn up at the COMS next season with one!
