usual chip on the shoulder nonsense from the singing section

the south stand (or to be more specific) south lower is THE SINGING SECTION

we don't go round calling ourselves a singing section, we just are

all the bad feeling on this comes from that side...

dont bother me...i'm in SS111, so fall into both categories ;p

we're all blues ffs, the singing section get behind the team all the time but the south stand are louder and the reason the south gets the credit when there's a good atmosphere is because they ARE louder

if you sit in different parts of the ground occasionally you can tell the difference

wasn't a personal pop mate, just whenever this subject comes up, 111 as a block never seems to give 117 any credit , its always "but what about us, we're the singing section..."

From my independent or unbiased view - as I don't sit/stand in either the South Stand or East Corner - I thought the atmosphere was quite good today! and about fuckin time!

In the second half the South Stand sang properly for the first time in a very long time today, maybe since Portsmouth 6-1 last season! honestly!!

East Corner were also good and were good when it was 0-0 as well! they have been marginally better over the last few years but that's nowt to be proud of because between the two lots of you there's too much squabbling and 90% of the time both areas are shit and quiet as fuck!

The best lot of the day were the North Standers who were actually very good, for them!

Obviously it will be electric next week but today has restored abit of faith for me in our regular game atmopsheres!

I understand the situation about how we need a full end behind the goal and to move the away faans blah blah. But surely, if were playing like we are doing week in week out, all of the ground should be raising the roof?.

How can u say this i am only a young lad been going for a few years now i was there at maine road and i sit in the south stand and i think the are the best singing stand at manchester city football club!

Im in 111 and thought the South Stand did a good job, heard lots of noise coming from over there!

At one point we had most of the ground singing Blue Moon for once, sounded great.

I sat in the south stand 215, right above the brummies. Both sides were giving it out equally, but 110 / 111 were mainly giving it to the brummies.
Good atmosphere in the second half.

I was happy we got a bit more noise in 121 yesterday, very happy with that, and the SS were superb imo, as soon as we can mix the singing section with the SS we'll be laughing
