Did that slide effort from Alvarez when it went straight to the keeper not count?

The keeper made a save but Alvarez deflected onto the defender, hardly a shot. Really bad night for everyone lets hope it wakes them up.

Hard to know where to start. The worse the opposition, the worse we play it seems at the moment.

Very poor from start to finish and even the changes made little difference. Created very little. Just a bit of huffing and puffing.

Cancelo was awful, Phillips not much better and Alvarez was quite poor but there again nobody was great. Gundogan probably the pick of the bunch.

We really need to evaluate what we are doing as it just isn't working consistently at all. Please let's ditch the inverted FBs for a start and go back to our 4-3-3.
