We needed a player who can break the lines and change the game.

Pep got it wrong today, KDB should have come off after 50 minutes and Marmoush should have come on
Totally understand the club's reason for letting KDB go after today, it's done and dusted, The draw leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, but it's not the end of the world and we have 2 more games and a FA Cup final to look forward to
 
The clue about what today was going to be like was in the starting line up. Rico played well ahead of nunes the other week, back to right back today. Haaland should have come off bench, kdb showing that his time has definitely come, and Phil is just an average prem player at the minute. Pep cocked up today.
 
Still in our hands.... Think we all thought, players and Pep included this was a given so even a below par performance would give us a win. Unfortunately they played the park the bus tactic which we have forgotten how to breakdown this season. Had enough chances to put the game to bed but just didn't happen. May be the point that seals CL qualification as long as we win our last couple of games.
 
Not getting 3 points here puts more pressure to get wins against Bournemouth & Fulham. Unnecessarily.

Went for small spaces players with no one adequate overlapping for width, making it easy to defend. Bring Doku on and should have brought Nunes on - inverting a winger in Foden/Savinho to run into congestion wasn't exactly big brain thinking. Disappointed in how long it took Pep to make changes
 
Awful turgid performance…..we are a horrible team to watch and we are really lacking in so many areas.

I don’t think there will be many people asking for a u turn with De Bruyne although who else have we got that can create.

Dias and Akanji set the tone today with their walking football.

It’s odds on that them lot from Stretford will get Champions League and we could miss out.

Why does Pep have to mess about with the Gvardiol and Dias combination….if he has to play Akanji …..play him at full back…..he’s not good enough in the middle.

Feel sorry for McAtee….poor today but he’s not a wide-man….why does Pep continually play players out of position.

It was so frustrating watching that today.

Entitled? Fuck off that was a fucking dire performance and we should certainly expect better against the worst prem side in history. We’ve been shit this season and there’s nothing wrong with being pissed off about it.

Of course we expect better and I fucking hope those running the club do as well. Too many of these players are no longer good enough or in the case of Lewis and McAtee never will be.
 
Pep needs to go or Haaland needs to go Pep Is ruining him and we play shite cause of it.

Nobody is entitled, people have opinions, winning the FA Cup, while it is a great trophy doesn't get you Champions league Football, and we need that for the revenue, and to be fair we should be beating Southampton, and the point and the clean sheet you talk about is garbage, we didn't move the ball quick enough, we allowed Southampton to play the way they wanted, I will be at the final next weekend, and if we play that way against Palace we will get battered
 
Wouldn't surprise me if we miss out on top 5 now

And to be fair we don't deserve it. We've been gash for 70 per cent of the season
 
Spent 200m in January and all of those new signings played a grand total of 6 minutes today. Haaland looks like he’s not even 20% let alone fit enough to play, should have been hooked at half time didn’t look interested. Foden should be sent on an early holiday as he is as much use as Glauber Berti at the minute.

Play anything like that in the last 2 games and we will finish 6-7th.

Said in the pre game thread if we can’t beat this Southampton team we don’t deserve champions league football
