I know it’s one game but it’s symptomatic of this season and has to be a lesson for Pep and the board to show some proper ambition and ruthlessness in the transfer market this summer.

We need pacy midfielders that can score or at least create. And proper full backs.

Pep’s loyalty to certain players is maddening.

He’s handling KDB’s testimonial season the exact opposite of how he handles Aguero’s in that the former is playing every second of every game despite how awful he is out there. The same applies to Haaland. It’s his first game back from injury, he’s playing like shit, and Pep is still seemingly scared to hurt his feelings and take him out for our 70M January signing who’s been great while he was out.

I love Pep, but let your balls drop, man.

I’m still confident we’ll finish in the top 5, but with Fulham and Bournemouth remaining, these dropped points feel significant.
