That's on Pep. Didn't start with our best players currently in order to give starts to Lewis, Foden and McAtee and was criminally slow to bring on Marmoush who has been far better than them recently.

Unprofessional tinkering with the team and management of the game.

Also, KdB is done. Wasted about 30 set pieces today, passing was off. His bigger problem now is not physical but technical.

Quite poor that for the most part. From the team selection to the performance.

Total domination but not too many clear cut chances. Southampton defended well but we made it much easier for them than it should have been.

Why we made that many changes to the team, I don't know. Changing both FBs and benching Marmoush were baffling decisions.

Should have still won though. Can't really be happy with the point but it may prove to be a valuable one at the end of the season.

I dont hate him, just feel we change our game for him, since he has been out, we have been winning games, marmoush has been excellent, as a player how must you feel? You play well contribute, then haaland is fit and your dropped? He hit the bar after coming on, ran at players, for me he should have started and Haaland should have started on the bench

who’s to say the fault doesn’t lie with Pep the way our season’s been? Picked his favourites and couldn’t beat the worst team in the league as a result. We gave them a clean sheet. We had 72% of the ball, 26 shots, and about 80-100 touches in the Southampton area. If the lads can't score with those stats then that's not on Pep.

Exactly. And you can't blame the team selection on Pep as well. Or the set piece coaching. Nothing to do with him. Or his tactics which resulted in crossing it shallowly into one player surrounded by 6 defenders. Nothing to do with him. Plus we had loads of the ball so that's bonus points.

UCL isn’t fucked. We win our final 2, we are fine. Chelsea and Newcastle play tomorrow. Worst we will be after this weekend is 4th. Chelsea and Nottingham play final day so one of those two will drop points also. We win out, we are in ucl. Big ask but we can do this
