Southampton expended considerable energy in that game against Swansea, both physical and emotional; they also went through the wringer in the game at Goodison, so it'll be interesting to see how they cope in this one. I thought Brighton would have thrown off the shackles and gone for it, but they looked quite disinterested, and it's hard to see Southampton raising themselves for this one.

With a 10 goal swing required, Southampton are safe so not really a lot to play for them so I do expect us to get to 100 lovely points on sunday.

Hughes seems to be a tad scarred after Stoke conceded 7 against us so I expect him to adopt an ultra defensive approach, aim to reach ht without conceding or only conceding once. If their relative gd compared to Swansea is still close to 10 then they might relax.

From our point of view, we can afford to be patient if we dont score early on. The longer the game goes without scoring the more Southampton will relax, the more chances we will get.

I think Pep will make sure that Foden and Diaz get their medals. But I also think that he he doesnt want them to believe that they have some sort of entitlement to a medal. Their contribution to the title win has been relatively modest, certainly compared to the efforts of De Bruyne, Fernandhino etc, etc. It wont do them any harm if he lets it go down to the wire.

I like that line up but I would like to see him give foden a start. With that team around him he would flourish.

Get Foden involved at some point as well. Could start instead of Bernardo but we should ensure we finish with 100 points first.

Laporte excellent last night- to be joined by stones?
Diaz did very well as sub last night- but to take Jesus starting spot,no not imo- we need centurions!!
