Redmond admitted they are a bit tired, so hopefully they will have a hard week's training.
Saints couldn't keep up with the break away for the 2nd West Ham goal. City's pace up front should destroy them in the 2nd half.

We'll have had more than 48 hours extra rest time too

I've come to expect anything in our games. We can be the architect of our own downfall or we can be robbed blind by some incompetent with a whistle or a flag or we can play a simple little game straight out of last season or earlier part of this season. FKnows which is gonna transpire!
Feels like old times mate ha ha.

48 votes for a loss....How nervous have some become? Lol

We'll win this :)

Ederson

Danilo Stones Laporte Zinchenko

Gundogan

Sterling B.Silva KDB Sane

Aguero

Nothing much we can do about Dinho role if he's not fit. If Genius is fit to start then it's a straight swap for B.Silva.

Anything bad can happen with Gundogan in the team though, he does a very good impression of the invisible man in most games.

On paper we should murder these but
I’d take a scrappy 1-0 right now.
This is a must win at all costs game no matter what or how.

What are the options for left-back for the next three games?
I seem to recollect we signed a left footed bloke, name of Sandler, is he fit? Could he play against the Saints? Was he on the bench for a cup game recently?

They will no doubt take a lead out of Palaces book. 4-5-1 formation, balls lumped forward to Ings who will bury the first chance he’s given.
We have to move the ball quickly and more direct when we get near goal instead of trying to walk it into the net.
We MUST win this with a clean sheet. Our superior goal difference has now been collapsed.
If we lose this, we will be destroyed by the dippers and we can kiss goodbye to trying to retain the PL title.
Win, and it should give us confidence to go into the dippers game.

Why don't pep try Eric García as holding midfielder ?He had a full game against Leicester, full of confidence, nothing to lose knowing he isn't going to fear physical contacts. It is time for some young players to stand-up and show their value if they get their chance to play.

So I will go with this line up, hoping that we don't concede goals. But surely we can score the first.

Ederson
Laporte
Stones
Danilo
Zinchenko
Garcia
KDB
D. Silva
Sterling
Sane
Jesus ( He has good memories from last game at saints)

Kev needs to fill in as DM with the two Silvas in front of him (assuming all 3 are fit). Forget Gundo as a DM he's not up to the physical requirements. Kev is on a different level ability-wise & should offer more physically.

Too soon to put a young player who has had a start in a cup tie straight in to start in a must win game and expect him to fill for one of our most underrated and over worked centurions especially out of position. If he failed it would not bode well for his development.
