Kompany is an interesting choice. Seem to remember Laporte being a bit shaky at times but I will go along with replacing Stones. Whenever he loses form, he ends up giving way to much space to the guy with the ball, time and time again. Delph might have made it back in but for the red!
Hoping for some nice football from Danilo. He's always class on the ball.

Bit of a conundrum is Sane. Seems to be either brilliant or bang average and rarely anything in between. Hopefully become more consistent as he matures.

I find that terribly disappointing tbh.

Kompany has turned around our team & back 4 each time it's fallen apart over the last few years but Pep clearly wanted to phase that out & be able to rely on the others to do it without him.

Also, he looked like a bull in a china shop last time he came on.

Hint of desperation/shit or bust, about it imo but likely fully justified.

Apart from KDB it’s interesting to note no Gundogan on the bench. I hadn’t read that he Is injured. Also no Diaz, is that a sign that we have given up on him ?

Mahrez needs to step up today. He’s been missing in action of late. We need a big game from him.

That’s my only concern,after the two losses and without Fernandinho I hope it isn’t get him back in at all costs,although to be fair I don’t think pep is like that unless it was a pivotal game as in cup final ..

Disagree about Walker and Delph. Neither in the best of form but better than Danilo and Zinchenko.
