Best wishes for a safe journey to and from the game tonight for all Blues. Apart from Vienna 1970, Southampton is the longest time I have spent travelling to watch a City match. 1967 away on a Wednesday night. We set off on the North Western coach from Greenbrow Road Wythenshawe at 8 in the morning with pick ups all around Wythenshawe and arrived at the Dell at 6 in the evening. Gutted when Saints made it 3-2 with a late Ron Davies goal. Back on the coach at 10 and arrived back home at 8 the following morning. Virtually spent 20 hours on the coach that day. After all the hundreds if not thousands of City games I have watched I will still be nervous tonight. Come on City. Come on you Irons and come on the Eagles.
