Southampton Away Train Travel?

Quite a few of us in travelodge.

Transport in this country is shite, if this was germany you would have no problems getting back.
 
4 of us flying Saturday 9am staying over and 11.40am flight back, perfect flight times..!!
 
Staying at Travelodge too - flying down from Newcastle on Sat morning ( arriving Southampton 09.00am ) - Back Sunday evening. Hotel £25 for double room, flight £88.99 return ( cheaper than train ).
Sounds like there`s quite a party in prospect on Sat night !
 
£40 from chester but means a night on euston or waterloo station, wouldn't be the first time, but getting older so its a drive and b&b
 
Yeah same here where did you all find the £25 price?

I took a chance & booked early when i knew flights would cover every eventuality other than a move to a Monday night slot. A calculated risk i guess but the odds were in my favour 12.45pm / 3.00pm / 5.30pm Sat & 2pm / 4pm Sun were ok - it was only 8pm on Mon that would have messed things up !
 
£25 travelodge between 3 of us, booked it last friday.

My mate also booked the same. Must of put price up as they know whats happening.
