Thought he was poor today

Thought the same until the game opened up and then he played well. Seems to struggle these days in the tighter games but still very good when given space.

I do think he weakens us quite a bit defensively though compared to having Bernardo in there on the left of the CM 3.

Not the easiest of picks today. I was going to go for PW, for his shinner. In the end, though, I went for Barnsley's finest.

Trouble is he's always doing it further up the pitch and leaves a lot of space behind. Our midfield is far too easy to play through at present and we aren't generally controlling games in the way we used to. I believe we are simply a better and more effective team with Bernardo, Rodri and Gundogan in CM.

Walker our best defender when we were hanging on in the first half , was tempted to give it to Phil for that wonder goal though

Although we won 4-1 none of the forwards deserved it (Sterling ok first half, Kev ok second, Phil and Mahrez good when came on) - so went with Walker.
