Southampton (H) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Another 3 points but I'm personally not enjoying watching us at the moment, not spoilt, I know we have been shit 20 years ago etc but something is lacking for me, maybe I'm falling out of love with football or something.

Credit to Southanpton today to try to actually play some decent football, they can't play out from the back but kept trying.

Attacking wise - clueless.
Defensively excellent - for the FIRST time this season. So very happy in that respect.
Southampton are excellent at getting out of the press. Sadly their AMs are shit to do anything with the ball when they get it.

Celebrating with your fans after getting beaten, bravo.
After saying they never compromise how they play then just another low block of all 11 behind the ball for 80% of the game sack of shit, football ruining gameplan. 1 shot on target from 25 yards straight to the keeper.
Got exactly what it deserved. Fuck all.

3 points, top of the league and unbeaten for 2 years at home, lovely.

Can't wait to watch the other hopefulls kick fuck out of one another tomorrow with fingers crossed, no winner.

Hardly wasting time, picked up a couple of injuries and yes for bottom of the league they were decent. Definitely had us worried at moments.
Yes they were, their left back crossed the entire pitch to get off instead of taking the short way out, Downes had several miraculous recoveries before going off, Ramsdale being down for 2 minutes for whatever the fuck, if you think being content with a 1-0 loss is decent well that's your opinion but I don't think so.

No strikers of any note is going to sit and watch from the bench , we couldnt keep jules happy and he was a great young player, thor is the number one and we can revert to false nine at any time
I agree. Even Delap wouldn't return to sit on the bench; cos if Big Earl is fit, he plays, and plays til he scores the other team out of the game.
