Good grief, bizarre match and what looks like an easy 5-2 win doesn't tell half the story.
Nonsensical penalty decision, or rather non-penalty awards for 1) blatant hand push on KDB then ankle breaker challenge from the GK on Foden. If Laporte tugs their guy and its a pen then so is KDB's.
Moss is a pathetic excuse for a referee. Plus the tit looking at the VAR decision....astonishing incompetence.
Right....
Some pretty poor showings tonight yet we win 5-2, tells us that the guys upfront were very good and the guys behind them were distinctly meh at times...
What is up with Laporte? Making some ridiculous decisions on the pitch. Used to be so reliable.
Mahrez won that for us out of the blue with some magic.
It would be nice if Ederson could actually save a penalty, especially since we concede so many. Never mind taking them Eddy, try saving them instead.
Some really sloppy stuff in midfield at times.
I know it sounds churlish when we have just scored 5 but better teams will punish us more for some of the sloppiness that went on this evening.

Good win, going forward we looked dangerous and should have scored more. But defensively we were far too open and looked vulnerable, especially in the 1st half. If we want to progress in the CL we need that solidity back quickly.

Foden shone again and we look a far better side with him in it. Mahrez took his goals very well and looks like he is back to form.

Looked like we could score at will at times which is a big plus. The set up let Kev have a striker type roll. Great response to our non penalty decision x2 and their penalty decision which could have destroyed us mentally. But we just stuck to it ,moved up a gear whilst the thread went into rightful anger.. Got the next goal and there was only one winner after that .
Mahrez does give us something special at times although he does shirk some challenges. At the moment you wouldn't leave him out . On to Fulham and lets get 3 more points before the favoured ones play their game . Keep that gap
