From BBC

"For all Man City's success and wealth (just look at that squad!) their club lacks the most important thing, a soul. People may laugh but the reason other clubs like Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal amongst others come through hardships is because of a real fan base that helps to push the club on coupled with genuine principles that these clubs live by. Money is part of the modern game but aside from this what do City have? A belief in the academy? Loyalty from players? Or fans? I don't think so. Would Pep stick around if they were still at Maine Road without the wealth? They can't even fill their own stadium at the best if times. Yes they'll win the league but they won't win the hearts of football fans."
Alex, Yatton

1. Of course the bbc post this on the match feed.
2.We should start a collection for Alex so he can buy some books, get some internets and realise History started a lot fucking earlier than 2008. FUCKING MARDY ARSE ****.
What is a Yatton

Good win
Walker and Laporte poor. We look weak when its Laporte and Dias together
Tyler moss and HInchcliffe can fuck off

I could be wrong but didn't the S'ton goalkeeper clip Foden with his trailing leg? Ref literally just ignored every foul on our players.

We were scrappy tonight but still got 5 - nice to see KdB get two goals after Sunday; Mahrez's two were sublime!

Good performance from Phil and the team in the end was a bit of a weird game. Shame we will Never get rid of Var it’s ruined the game just proves once again why it’s a load of sh**e.

proper bitter twat , he earned £10k a week then he looks at Mendy earning ten times as much , that must wind him up , he missed the bandwagon , and now he has to rim Sky sports for a living , c*nt

lets not forget he jumped ship to everton ? bitter and will not be forgiven after tonight ? ex city player with a axe to grind always works for skysports

I hope that first half performance doesn't get repeated too often, half hearted closing down and passes going astray everywhere. Mahrez is the boy at the moment and Foden gives us energy, Zinchenko is consistent but Kev is still a shadow of seasons past . As for the VAR decision, like Pep says, that ranks alongside the Fulham handball as an absolute shocker.

I had to mute Jim Beglin AGAIN in commentary. He did not hesitate to say the Foden no penalty decision was correct claiming the keeper got to the ball first.
Anyone found pundits who agree with ex dipper Beglin? Pep and Phil certainly didn’t.
Even the BBC posters were outraged by Moss and VAR not giving what we all saw was a stonewall penalty.
Bluemoon
5-2
