Playing in champions league midweek didnt seem to affect liverpool. No doubt united and chelsea will both win today too

Didn’t say every time, doesn’t always affect us. Just saying when they happen, it is generally when we or they have played midweek and they play a decent team that have had a week to prepare. Palace aren’t a decent team, united and chelsea might or they might not win today.

Palace aren't a decent team, I would put Southampton is the same category.

Agree and it takes us 2-3 months to get into our stride but with the competition this season, that may be a step too far.

Disagree both will have done very well to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

Exactly. Who is that down to? Is it pep? Is it from above? For the england players to return to training a couple of days before the spurs game was a joke when other teams england players had been back in training quite a while
