Be nice, but not the way we generally play. The first half seems to be to wear them down rather than go for goal. Even during our winning run many times I looked at the game time and thought over 20 minutes have gone and we have not had a shot.
 
Just put the derby behind them and be right up for it and I think we will be ok, I’m confident we can do that.
Bernardo and Foden will be in I feel and I’m really happy we’ve got a leader like Diaz in the changing room, can see him pumping the boys up and petting them know we need to put it in

Yeh I know, West Brom was the last game we had won by HT. We usually kill teams off in the 2nd half but it's no good for my nerves!

As showed it also only takes one mistake to go behind and give the oppo something to defend for.
 
Dreamt last night i watched us have 26 shots on target with 80% possession and drew 0-0!

Woke up angry and put a fiver on it at 18\1
 
Glad we're playing tonight, gives us an opportunity to put Sunday behind us. Beat Southampton and the gap is back to 14 points. The derby will largely be forgotten as a temporary blip. Lose or draw though and doubts might start to surface, so it's a big game in many respects. Conditions aren't ideal, and their tails will be up after winning at the weekend, but we should have too much for them. An early goal or two would be nice to settle the nerves!

Need 2-0 to make them come out to play, then we can exploit the space. At 1-0, teams still stay compact and wait until
70-75 mins to throw on a few strikers and try to knick one. We are sometimes obliging.

3-0 at HT and game is done and dusted. 1-0 at HT and their dressing room is the happier.

0-0 or worse, and the word “crisis” or “choke” will be heard from some quarters, because they just can’t help themselves.

Let’s keep those mouths SHUT for the rest of the season. We need 5 wins out of 10 (others won’t go unbeaten) to walk it, and so far we have lost 3 out of 28. I’d just as soon not give anyone hope with draws, either!
 
Need to win this and Fulham to put pressure on the rags.

Tonights game, need to keep an eye on Ings in particular, Minamino and Djenepo trickery.

because poor conditions negate skills. the purer game suffers as it becomes a game for cloggers and defenders. a lot easier to play in great conditions on a great pitch. Just watch a few FA Cup upsets over the years when good teams play minnows on shit pitches. tonight the ball will be lightning fast off that pitch, wind will play havoc with any balls in the air

don't think i've ever seen the weather have any effect on our game & it won't,btw it pissed down when Southampton lost 9-0 at home to Leicester

Winds stronger at 9pm but at 6pm they'll still be 32 - 36 mph , so not a gentle breeze. W 9 D6 L12 , pretty mixed to me . Apart from 9 GOALS shipped by 88 mins of a 10 man team , no one else has really stuffed them but lets hope i'm wrong and you're right
 
I know this match is tonight. But have just seen that our match against BM in the Champs League has been switched to Budapest on Tue 16th.
