I don't understand why KDB hasn't been dropped after Sunday v the Rags

He’s always a bit iffy for a few games after returning from injury, but I think Pep has to play him to try to get him up to speed and back to his glorious best for the League, FA and CL cup comps
I suppose the logic in playing him now is that we currently have a cushion of points in the PL and it’s not a knock out competition so logical to use him in it while he shakes off the cobwebs.
An additional thought is that he may not be keen to sign the latest iteration of his new contract if he’s not getting game time and also, if he chooses not to sign, it will be good to have him looking great for some games before the end of the season so that the market can judge his worth from his performances.

Yes, and I don't think the CB s are the problem. After a long time we have a solid partnership of CB s, I would not mess with them. In 1 month we could have 4 CB s satisfied with their minutes but all of them complet out of form.

I am horrified how bad he's been since coming back from injury, but I still believe in our Kev.

The thing about Kev is that even when he is off form he is always likely to pull out a piece of brilliance like the cross v west Ham. He just needs time to adjust to our new formation. It will be interesting to see where he plays tonight. He may end up on the right of the front three with Bernardo a bit deeper. I like KDB on the right. He banged in 16 goals from there in his first season. Let's see what happens. At least we have lots of options.
