They’ve shipped 3 in each of their last three games. With so many injuries, I can’t really see us bothering on Wednesday, so get the points locked up and rest for Bournemouth.
Pep did talk about a reserve side for the cup game....we'll be lucky to be that strong ;)

The 6 injured players we have will not be available for Southampton , lets hope 4 of them are not out for too much longer.

Fucking injuries. What is wrong with Grealish and Walker?

And why is Kev taking so long!?

When is Bobb due back?
Scheduled for early January but we are usually conservative with our injured players so I suspect it will be later.

Pep rarely gives away much on the nature of the injuries illness leave of absence etc and often gives timelines that you should be not taking as gospel.

Today he is the I don't know how long about any of them approach so knows days maybe weeks for all four bat the two long term ones of course.

Hope no new ones from Wednesday or training since we are at the limit with our squad size at present.

I would feel more comfortable if we had another 2-3 quality players available notwithstanding they wouldn't get as much game time if we stayed relatively injury free which we find hard to achieve week upon week anyway.

Bobb due back around February time realistically.

Think I heard that Walker had a knee issue?

As far as the others go, what on earth is going on with Kev?

There’s been absolutely nothing on what’s wrong with Grealish and Doku, although Jack was pictured in City’s photos/reels with that boxer guy visiting yesterday so there can’t be anything that seriously wrong with him at least.

Kind of hoping that because it’s Saints - Carabao - Bournemouth at the moment that Pep is giving them all longer than would otherwise be the case.

So many injuries seem to be muscular and so many seem to be incurred around international breaks. One wonders if the quality of the conditioning training is as good when players go away, or whether it can be attributed to their bodies just breaking down from being away from what they’re used to. Mighty peculiar.

I think Pep and the backroom staff are micromanaging players minutes this season. More so than ever. We're planning to be right on blob at the business end while everyone else is blowing like a glassblowing arse.

We're likely to play more games than ever before this season if we go well in the cups, with the CWC at the end.

It's going to require full use of the squad to its max. Hence any slight knocks are being carefully managed at this stage.

I think we're going to put a very weak team out versus Spurs it's the one comp we'll probably check out early as somethings got to give. I suspect we were hoping for weaker opposition at home this early in the draw, but no such luck.

Nows a great time to apply some pressure to the Scousers or Arsewipes. Gooners are already shitting bricks at being 3 points off us. Another loss while we win and theyll all be throwing themselves in the Thames. We have Bournmouth and Brighton away coming up in the league before Anfield on 1st December. Am I the only one who thinks Liverpool aren't all that? Go there with another 9 points from our next three league games and I believe we can win there! That would put the fox in the hen house good and proper.

Not too bothered about Spuds (as we could do without the additional games - in any event it'll be good to see how the reserves do) - but no PL team is easy and I could see Southampton digging in deep and taking their chances on the break - Bournemouth will give us a game and it's often that little bit of additional quality in players like Kev that makes the difference in these games - fingers crossed!
