Lower safe standing area never again on that side of the staduim

A great view spoiled by the sun especially in the first half.
Second half a lot better but did they close part of the roof second half.
Never noticed in the first.
News for you the sun does go down at night because earth is spinning
And yes it's shit in that end early kick off even worse Chelsea had sun all game really poor planning

What did people think of the saints fans?
Given they had more fans present and was banging on about it being such a big occasion, I was expecting more tbh.
They weren't that noisy to be honest. They had a few rousing renditions of "when the Saints" but did not have many other songs. Not a patch on Palace, Watford and Sunderland who were the best I have seen in finals against us. I suspect the Saints fans made the same mistake as Forest last season. They made a big racket pre-match in the pubs but peaked too soon. It was a very hot day to be fair.

Both me and lad said 1_0 either way at half time with late goal. Southampton scored worldy with 10 to go. Any other team would've seen that ten plus injury time out by subs ( might of used them all) or just falling over thank got we /5 scored in 4/5 minutes

One of my highlights of the day was meeting the Wealdstone Raider in spoons in Ruislip lol

I met him and when he said "Do you want some?" and i replied yes i didn't expect him to knock me out. Then after the game somebody was kind enough to give me a lift home. Well we had an altercation with this mad driver and his missus when stuck in traffic. The last thing i remember before waking up was he said his name was Ronnie Pickering or something. Apparently me asking "Who??" Tipped him over the edge.

Marmoush and Reindeer annoy me. Every time they have a crap shot that hits the corner flag or goes out for a throw in, we get a stupid grin from them. You can smile and grin when you do something positive like score or assist.
Like having 2 Sterlings having waited so long to get rid of 1 ffs

Absolutely no comparison. This was a match where we had to rotate to some degree. We created enough chances to win 3 semis - the players on the pitch couldnt finish. Nothing wrong with Pep's selection and at the end of the day, we won and dominated the game
Don’t forget there’s a goalkeeper who’s main aim is to save shots on goal 4/5 defenders who closed the space, blocked shots and the typical let’s now call it the low block because it sounds better than every fucker behind the ball

Looking round the Level 1 concourse pre-match really noticed how many families and teenage City fans there. Was brilliant to see, and I’m sure they all had a great time. Ticket availability this time and the chance for SC/Members to buy tickets for the rest of their family really helped on that score this time round I’d think.
Agreed. I think our fan base is slowly turning and is getting younger & more vocal

Totally agreed with Pep's decision to freshen the team up and give some of our regular starters a rest, but hated the starting line up, more specifically the lack of pace and width.

However, maybe Doku and Savinho had a greater impact due to the fact that Southampton defenders were basically knackered by the time they were introduced? Probably Pep's plan.

Would have worked like a charm if they hadn't scored an absolute worldie with one of their few efforts on goal, but alls well that ends well and we got past a potential banana skin, which is the only thing that matters.

Some squad players got some game time and did well, some regular starters got some rest, another cup final is on the horizon, and there's still the possibility that this season could have a legendary ending.

Some looking on the bright side could be in order ;)
