4 consecutive finals....hopefully not 3 consecutive defeats. Some of our squad just aren't good enough that's clear. Two superb goals (one from each team) and we're through a tough semi final. Nico gets his moment in the spotlight.

Reijnders, Marmoush, Savinho - they just haven't got the stones for big games have they.

Responded well though to Southampton's goal - two moments of calm from distance.

Overall performance was fine, we just had shirkers up front who were missing chances and passing the responsibility on to someone else at all times.

Awful team selection and performance first half. Was obvious what was coming with that selection. Much better second half with some changes. Got caught with a sucker punch but did well to turn it around after Southampton scored quite late and totally against the run of play.

Some strike by Nico G, he's got a foot like a traction engine!!

I put £10 on Southampton to win or draw when I saw the changed team before the start of the match.

Lesson learnt.

great goal by Nico and Doku deserved the bit of luck on his goal as his approach play helped to change the game.

We deserved the win despite not looking great as again we were the only team to try and play any football - lik Burnley, Southampton just sat all 10 outfield players behind the ball...so ive little to no sympathy for them despite being underdogs

I think however that some of our fringe players just arent good enough...

Savio - Im sorry but Jesus Navas would have scored that!!!! - he has consistantly proved that he aint at the level required
Reijnders...unless he is shooting he offers nothing
Marmoush is a second striker playing off a main forward...he cant lead the line on his own and as a result of that he doesnt have a place in this team - works hard and has his attributes but he aint playing games when Haaland is fit and able.
