Do feel a bit sorry for the Southampton fans. A very long trek home on a bitter cold night when they were so close to every paper hailing them the team that saved the Premiere League season for all the 'fans'.

And they have to realise that they are just the latest team to stand on the tracks as the express train heads at them and discover that instead of being Superman and derailing the train they are just another leaf of the line.
