His finishing was poor, his movement and positioning was always top class but the finishing was letting him down, now the finishing has been polished and we are reaping the rewards. In dream land right now and you dig out fellow posters for being wrong.

Winning when you play crap, a true sign of champions.

The level of performance has certainly dropped and in this fixture glut in December we just need to grind out wins which we are currently doing.

Zinchenko giving the ref grief when the Southampton player was walking the long way off to be subbed! Good to see the desire from someone not even getting on the pitch !
 
Amazing. Two games showing the never-give-in attitude and brilliant team spirit any would-be Champions need.

One thing nobody else seems to have mentioned. Just watched the brief highlights, and surely the cross for Southampton‘s goal goes out of play...?
 
Fuck me that was hard work but what a finish... thought we took too long with our passing but not too worry because even below our best we still keep winning.
Southampton deserved fuck all with their anti football time wasting tactics.
Ginger Kev was a bit off it tonight but hopefully he's saving his best for when we play the scum.
Was amazed that Metrolink had a double tram on back to Ashton after the game...but very thankful too because it was bloody cold at the game...but Raz warmed us up with that goal... Ottamendi my motm but thought Eddie was very cool and composed and had no chance with the goal....Raheem Sterling he's top of the league
