A few saints season ticket holders at my works, they all said Yates's. We'll be there about 1.15.

The Waterfront Bar looks ok to me over looking a quayside, and not to far from the ground. Will need need to get a taxi from the train station.

We'll probably go in this one, as we're staying at the Hilton, so coming in from the north of the city.

Read a few reviews, and it sounds ok!

just seen this on another forum may be worth a try

ello blues.

I work at a pub in Southampton called The Cellar, where the owner is a blue, the chef is a blue, and some other staff members are indeed blues... To me that constitutes a City pub!

We're having a meet up before the game (2pm) if any of you guys going are up for a drink. We're all going to the game and have a lot of City mates so there's only one place to be. It's on the way to the stadium if any of you are coming down by train/coach. Be handy for any guys with spare tickets too. No touting, of course!

Address below if you're interested....

Iv got a mate who is a Reading fan and went to Southampton away in the championship . He said it was one of the roughest aways he's been to in a long time. I was surprised to hear it . Anyone else heard of it being an iffy away day ?

Never heard or seen any bother there - and the new ground makes it seem even less likely.

Like most places trouble stopped last century.

Just dont want people turning up at some scumbag pub where they serve jizz in your pint and wipe their arse with your burger. If capitals caught everyone's attention and they therefore go Yates, im happy.

As you come up the hill from the train station, this is the first pub you will see. Opposite a grassy area outside the civic building.

Anyone been in The Admiral Sir Lucius Curtis (Wetherspoons) on match day doesn't seem to far from the ground can away fans go in.
