I think this will be a draw, they are good defensively and will be hard to break down

If we could get the win it puts big pressure on united who play Chelsea the day after

Tough game, although I don't think the Saints have much to play for this season now, and our away record is better than our home one this season.

Got to be Willy in nets, and if Komps is fit he must play. I'd rest de Bruyne, his form is shit.

Willy
Navas (unless Zab or Sagna are fit?)
Kolarov
Kompany
Stones
Delph
Yaya
Silva
Sané
Sterling
Aguero

Great chance for players to cement there place in the Semi Final team. Think we'll win 1-3.

Bravo
Zaba Stones Kompany Kolarov
Delph
Sterling KDB Fernandinho Sane
Aguero
Silva is an absolute cert for the Semi Final, keep him fresh and try and find some KDB form.

It is going to a tough match but we should have enough quality to get us the 3 points.

Only champions league left to play for (barring FA cup but seriously who cares?) so this game is vital to pick up 3 points. Hope Delph keeps his place but with Pep who knows? With Bravo's footwork being the 'best' in the world, why not try him partnering John Stones?! In all seriousness though, we need to improve our defence - may be nick Van Dijk off Soutahmpton?

Woke up in a sweat last night - Dreamt Willy got injured in the warm up - Bravo till the rest of the season. - Phew! - a dream.

Nobody putting KDB in? I think he's looked poor recently because he's jaded. He will have two clear weeks rest, which should be enough to make any top athlete hungry. I'd bring him back for this, but not at the cost of sacrificing Spanish Dave.

I wonder if Sane might get a rest in this one. Maybe he's still fresh enough after not playing so much in the first half of the season, but he's played a lot of games recently.

I wonder if Guardiola will want to give De Bruyne and Fernandinho a chance to play themselves back into form ahead of the semi-final?

I think if we win this then we're in a very strong position for top four. Got a feeling we'll struggle though.

With regard to Fernandinho, maybe Delph and Yaya deserve to keep their starting spots? You never know with Pep.

As far as De Bruyne goes, hoping for at least a super sub performance from 60th or 70th minute to rebuild some confidence.

Yaya didn't do anything to deserve keeping his place really, slowed the game down a lot. Was better when him and Delph swapped positions.

I can't see Yaya starting in this game, Southampton are too mobile and active in midfield for Yaya to make an impression in the game, we need legs and tackles in the middle so i can see Delph and Dinho getting the nod.

Would not disagree with that assessment. The only proviso would be that I hope Fernandinho has his passing boots on. Struggles to pick 'em at times. I see him and Delph as a bit too similar to pair them. They are both high energy and add some physicality but not great with creativity. Yaya can pick a pass like no other (most of the time).
